This is a Full Design/Installation project where we worked with the homeowners to accomplish the preferred layout and function to take full advantage of their views overlooking the valley, and peaceful surroundings to enjoy.
This project included contouring and elevation changes in order to have multiple flat areas. We used rock retaining walls to incorporate the natural feel of the Wasatch Mountains .
We kept portions of the oak on the property to incorporate islands and isolation areas. By doing this, we were able to add new shrubbery and trees to accomplish privacy screens and color variations.
We installed a traditional sprinkler system to maximum coverage and ensure 100% coverage in both, grass areas and flower beds. All Hunter products were used in this landscaping with exception of the landscape lighting. By doing this, we are able offer our clients a better warranty coverage.
We used screened topsoil, garden mix, and mulch soils/topping in this project. This helps the grass and plant material by adding extra nutrients. We used Kentucky blue-grass. We also used Decorative Landscape Bender Board to match the landscapes natural feel and to separate flower beds from lawn area, keeping a clean line for visual effects. We installed a large Water Feature that helped the homeowners feel secluded from the world. They are able to step outside and hear the running stream and cascading waterfall on the main level.
