July Issue July and August are usually our hottest months of the year. People always ask if it is to hot to put in landscape. Absolutly not, this is still a great time for any landscape project. The main difference between landscaping in mid summer and fall or spring is simple, you just need to water a little differently. We at Cardon can help you with any type of landscape for your home. Give us a call and our professionals will help you all the way through your new landscape project.
Helpful Hint for July & Aug. This is the time of year where our Bluegrass can get a little stressed due to excess heat. People tend to OVER water the whole yard to compensate for a couple of yellow spots. If you will properly fertilize & water your yard on a consistant schedule, the roots will gain a hardiness. I might aso suggest putting on a heavy dose of granular Gypsum on your yard in early June and once again in Sept. Gypsum will help condition the clay soil and soften it to help the grass roots work into the ground more easily. If you can not find Gypsum (in the granular form), please give us a call, we try to keep a pallet on hand for our usage. We can have it delivered to your home for about $13.00 per bag.
